The case for and against

Updated Oct 16, 2026

Bull case

Endava is positioned for upside if growth recovers faster than expected, allowing performance to run ahead of outlook and consensus estimates. Its digitally focused, customized software model should benefit as large deal conversion accelerates during the transition in its service offering, supporting stronger revenue visibility and deeper client relationships. With a core presence in the UK and Europe and concentrated exposure to resilient payments, financial services, technology, media, and telecom customers, the company has multiple avenues for renewed operating momentum.

Bear case

Endava is facing a weakening fundamental profile driven by concentrated exposure to Payments and Financial Services, with Worldpay as its largest client and broad revenue dependence on the UK and Europe. F3Q26 highlighted the strain, as revenue fell 6.4% year over year to £178.5mm, adjusted PBT margin compressed to 1.8%, and only Payments grew while every other vertical declined. Added pressure comes from Brexit-related disruption, foreign exchange volatility, wage inflation, talent competition, and the interim CFO appointment tied to an accounting investigation that delays 4QFY26 results and raises governance concerns.
