The firm is engaged in construction and development activities related to the liquefaction and sale of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and the capture and storage of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. The firm is constructing and developing a natural gas liquefaction and export facility located in the Rio Grande Valley in Brownsville, Texas (the Rio Grande LNG Facility), which has three liquefaction trains and related infrastructure under construction. Through its subsidiary, Rio Grande LNG, LLC (Rio Grande), the Company is constructing the Rio Grande LNG Facility on the north shore of the Brownsville Ship Channel. The site is located on 984 acres of land which has been leased long-term and includes 15 thousand feet of frontage on the Brownsville Ship Channel. The company is also developing a planned carbon capture and storage (CCS) project at the Rio Grande LNG Facility and other potential CCS projects.
