The case for and against

Updated Jul 21, 2026

Bull case

Qorvo is a market leader in radio frequency technology, with a strong portfolio of products and a strong position in the growing high-performance analog market, driven by increasing demand in the defense and aerospace industries. The company's ongoing reorganization strategy, coupled with expected growth in its high-performance analog segment and market share gains in key products for Apple's upcoming iPhones and iPads, is expected to drive solid, highly margin accretive growth. However, there are potential risks to this positive outlook, such as potential share losses in the ultra-high band pads at its largest customer and the possibility of slower-than-expected growth in its non-handset end markets.

Bear case

Qorvo is facing significant challenges as it continues to lose market share in its largest segment, cellular, and is projected to have a mid-single digit decline in total revenue next year. Although the company is making efforts to diversify into non-smartphone markets and has had some success in high-band PADs and envelope tracking power management ICs, these gains are not enough to offset the decline in its cellular business. With the impending merger with Skyworks and concerns about regulatory delays, there is limited visibility into the company's future performance, leading to a negative outlook from analysts.
