Bull case

Replimune Group is expected to perform well due to its focus on developing innovative oncolytic immunotherapies for cancer treatment and its proprietary RPx platform based on a novel strain of HSV-1. The company's recent announcement of a different review team for the resubmission of its BLA for RP1 plus nivolumab indicates potential for a positive outcome. With biopsies and surgical interventions showing no impact on tumor response, Replimune's proprietary oncolytic immunotherapy product candidates have the potential to transform the lives of cancer patients.

Bear case

Replimune Group is facing uncertainty after the FDA requested a meeting to discuss concerns about the trial design for its Ph3 IGNYTE-3 study of RP1, with an interim OS readout not expected until 2027. With a decrease in RP1's probability of success, potential cost cutting and a lowered rating from Overweight to Neutral, the company may also need to restructure in order to fund the ongoing trial and/or next-gen RP2 development amid a depleted cash runway.
