The case for and against

Updated Oct 21, 2026

Bull case

RenovoRx is attractive fundamentally because it combines a cleared commercial product with a differentiated oncology platform: RenovoCath is gaining traction, with active centers rising from 5 in September 2025 to 16 currently and a path to 36 by the end of 2026, supporting projected revenue growth to $2.8 million in 2026 and $4.5 million in 2027. Its TAMP platform may offer a meaningful clinical advantage by delivering therapy directly to the tumor while potentially reducing toxicity versus systemic IV treatment, and the ongoing Phase III TIGeR-PaC trial gained confidence when the DMC recommended continuation after the second interim analysis in August 2025, following positive 1st interim analysis results in March 2023. Financially, the balance sheet is solid with $12 million in cash and no debt, plus $10 million raised in Q1, while enrollment is expected to finish in June 2026 with final data anticipated in mid to late 2027.

Bear case

RenovoRx is still a clinical-stage biotech with limited commercial traction, as fiscal Q1 2026 revenue was only $0.6 million and fiscal Q2 2026 revenue was $0.9 million, while pro forma EPS remained negative at $(0.08) and $(0.05), respectively. Despite strong year-over-year growth, the company provided no Q1 or Q2 guidance, underscoring how early and uncertain the business remains relative to the large pancreatic cancer opportunity it cites. The bearish view is driven by the explicit risks of balance sheet and liquidity pressure, clinical and regulatory setbacks, commercialization and reimbursement challenges, and intense biotech sentiment risk, all of which could limit value creation before meaningful scale is achieved.
