The case for and against

Updated Oct 21, 2026

Bull case

ServiceTitan is positioned as the clear leader in a large $31B TAM, with an end-to-end platform spanning CRM, FSM, ERP and HCM workflows that supports roughly a $1B revenue run-rate and sustained top-class growth. Its outlook is strengthened by Max, Demand AI, Field AI, and Homh, which deepen monetization through a good/better/best packaging model, lower-friction adoption, and high-ROI automation that can lift lead conversion, booking rates, and revenue per job while preserving margin upside. Investor confidence is further supported by bullish customer feedback, a growing partner ecosystem, and the view that recent GTV softness and revenue-recognition dynamics were temporary, leaving the stock attractively valued at about 4x to 5.5x EV/CY27E sales.

Bear case

ServiceTitan is exposed to SMB customers in a trades market that is cyclical and sensitive to inflation, rates, and discretionary household spending, which can drive churn and slower software adoption when conditions weaken. Its 2Q GTV growth of 17% was about 200bps below recent quarters, and weak industry demand, lower job growth, and sticker shock in HVAC installs suggest near-term growth is vulnerable even if July improved. Competition from Housecall Pro, Jobber, FieldEdge, Service Fusion, and newer entrants could pressure pricing and margins, while the company’s valuation at ~9x EV/CY27E Sales leaves less room for execution missteps.
